
Mia Wagner

Mia Therese Wagner is a Danish businesswoman. She is co-founder of the company Nordic Female Founders, which works for greater diversity in Danish entrepreneurship. She is the former CEO of the Freeway Group, which invests in entrepreneurship.
when very young, Mia wanted to be a forensic pathologist, but the choice fell on law, where she studied at the same time as her sister. The brother Morten Wagner also studied law, but spent a little longer on his studies, as he founded Dating.dk at the same time. The company was a huge success and developed into the Freeway Group.
In the period from 2017 to October 2020, Mia Wagner was director of the Freeway group, but she wanted to create something on her own. The goal was to work for women's opportunities in business. Together with Anne Stampe Olesen, they founded Nordic Female Founders.
Mia Wagner started as a paralegal in her father's law firm Wagner Advokater in 2003, and in 2008 she became a partner and director of the company. In 2017, the law firm closed, and Mia Wagner became director of the Freeway Group, of which the Wagner family simultaneously took over full ownership. She also holds a number of board positions.
