But it is for his cream buns with the well-known name that the 62-year-old entrepreneur Michael Spangsberg has really made a name for himself here in recent years. And the cream buns have gradually become a very good business.

In addition to Spangsberg cream balls, the enterprising entrepreneur is also behind the well-known Samba cream balls, which he took over at the end of 2014. The production of both Spangsberg and Samba cream balls takes place at the factory in Skanderborg, while the Nørregade balls are made in Taastrup.

Michael Spangsberg founded his fortune in 1985 when he took over a small confectionery factory in Næstved. It would later become the candy universe BonBon with famous names such as dog farts and seagull drops. In 1992, the BonBon candy had become so popular that Michael Spangsberg laid the foundation stone for BonBon-land.

Barely a decade later, he sold the BonBon candy to Toms Gruppen and six years later the amusement park BonBonland to Spanish Parques Reunidos, which owns several amusement parks around the world.

After this, he decided to throw himself into quality cream buns, which now bring him millions. Michael Spangsberg uses the large amount of money, among other things. on investing in companies.
