Restaurant Smørgåsen is a tastefully decorated lunch restaurant located on the pedestrian street, in the heart of Frederikshavn.

The restaurant offers a large selection of homemade smørrebrød dishes with fish, meat or vegetables, as well as schnapps, bjesk and special beer. There is also a selection of gluten-free dishes and gluten-free beer.

The restaurant's cozy name comes from the Swedish word 'Smørgås', which means 'sandwich'. 

Each piece of smørrebrød is created from scratch with great respect for the ingredients and craftsmanship, portioned with an eye for detail and a sense of the sublime, and served with equal parts professionalism and North Jutland charm.
